Pink Sticks Up For Rap

The Sun reports Pink has responded to Tory party leader David Cameron’s claim that rap music played by Radio 1 “encourages people to carry guns and knives.” The 25-year-old said, “I’d love to know what he is basing that on. That’s not the way to get to the kids. It’s an easy stereotype – almost too easy. That’s how they felt about The Beatles and Mick Jagger in the 1960s – that they were making the ‘devil’s music’.”
