The April issue of Teen People magazine features an article by Pink about her father Jim Moore, where she talked about the Vietnam vet and his reaction to her new song directed at President Bush. “My dad and I have opposing political views. We don’t talk about it, because I’m as headstrong as he is,” Pink writes. “I played him ‘Dear Mr. President’ from my new album, ‘I’m Not Dead’, and I expected a fight and two days of silence. But he said, ‘I don’t agree with you, but good for you for utilizing the rights this country fought for’.”
