Pink’s In Career ‘Trouble’

Contributed anonymously:

As last two singles, ‘Feel Good Time’ and ‘Trouble’ flopped, her label (Arista) is worrying over her next release. ‘God Is a DJ,’ was released to radio earlier this week, and it is soaring on the pop charts, she is at #63 on pop radio with +342 spins. However, on the Rhythmic stations, the stations who first embraced Pink’s music, the single is at #289 with -4 spins. ‘Trouble,’ even did better. Also Pink is in hot water over her new album debut. While it had respectable chart showings worldwide, Arista thought the #9 debut in the U.S. was low for one of their biggest artists. her last album sold 4.1 million copies in the U.S.A., won critical acclaim, had four top 20 singles, and peaked at #6. The reviews for ‘Try This,’ were mediocre, the first single peaked at #67, and the first week sales were low. In the end, this is make or break time and it is still uncertain if she make it.

She also dumped Carey Hart (a while ago) so not only her music is in trouble

She should have stayed the way she was not a toughie chick. She’s just making herself a piece of joke. I liked her 1st 2 albums but I can’t tell that now with her 3rd project, it’s totally out of nowhere. Sort of like rebelling without a cause.

Pink is so over! And another thing, God Is A DJ is worse than Trouble IMO. It sucks.

I don’t like PINK but I have heard her album and it is so much better than that IN THE ZONE by Britney Spears

Pink herself said that on the last album, Mizunderstood, she had poured out everything from her whole 22 years of life into it, so what’s left for the new album? She said she just went in there and had fun with this album. I’m sure her label demanded a new album for this year, to follow up on the last one, so she cranked one out. It’s all about money for them (the label), you know. Give it a few months and we’ll see how it does. Mizunderstood took awhile to get everyone’s attention and then did well. It’s not like she’s over or anything.
