I have not a problem with Popdirt essays. I believe its freedom of speech. Hey I’m all for it. But what I do have a problem with is these essays being unfactual and offending people. You people need to stop with the pointless essays. You can’t write an essay saying that someone is lame or bitchy or a slut or a pretender and so on. If you do, you make yourself look like an idiot. Why? Because if your going to write an essay saying that someone is lame or whatever, you have no facts about that person because you obviously don’t like that person. Why waste your time?
Now see, I’m a Backstreet Boys fan. I dislike *NSYNC. But I’m not going to write an essay on why I dislike/ like them. Why? Because this site is not just for one band. It’s for all bands. Meaning that there are going to be people that like the band I dislike. Why would I want to offend people?
I hate it when people write an essay that bashes people. You have no right to do so. I don’t see you making it that far. I don’t see you as a famous celebrity. They do more work then I think we are never going to know. You have to give them respect. You should give them respect as well as there fans. You people sound like a bunch of 10 year olds.
I know that people are going to be like “this is another pointless essay” and so on but I don’t care. Say what you want. I’m just here to tell you that you are acting like a bunch of babies. Like I said I’m all for freedom of speech, unless it’s unfactual and offending people. All I ask is that you quit bashing celebrities because you have no right as well as there fans. This goes for all people not just the Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera or Britney Spears or *NSYNC fans, but everyone.
Have some respect for humans. Not everyone is going to be like you. That’s why we live in America. You say your ages like 36 and 25 and so on saying you’re not “teenyboppers” but you bicker like 10 year olds. Guess what, all you older people that act like babies I am a 14 year old girl. I’m what you call a teenybopper, but I have more common sense and maturity then all of you. Learn from a child, and grow up.
