A blind item in The Mirror asks, “Which pop star was given the brush off by a well known car company after he asked to borrow one of its motors? While the nation’s favorite were initially happy to lend him a runaround, they went back on their offer when they found out he wanted to use it in a video for his notorious band. Just the sort of publicity they could do without.”
