Posh Can Be Sued For Saying Autographs Were Fake

The owners of sports memorabilia shop GT’s Recollections can sue former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham for slander for allegedly claiming in public that the store sold fakes, the Appeal Court in London ruled. James Price, a lawyer for the store’s owners said, “What is alleged is that the defendant’s manner of making these statements was rude and loud and unreasonable and such as to draw attention to what she said. Our case overall is that this sort of thing said by a super-celebrity in a public place is like setting a wildfire.”
