Victoria Beckham had been helping Katie Holmes lose her baby weight in preparation for this week’s big wedding to Tom Cruise, but the former Spice Girl’s dietary rules were apparently too much for the actress. “Victoria maintains her tiny frame because she only permits herself to snack – not eat – on edamame, pretzels and occasionally sushi,” a source told The New York Post. Posh is also a fan of Diet Coke and told pals she hasn’t drunk water in years because she “hates the taste.”
Posh’s Son Romeo Is Battling Epilepsy
Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has confessed that her son Romeo is battling epilepsy, the News of the World is reporting. A close friend of Posh and her husband David said, “They have told friends the situation. While it’s heartbreaking, he is being brave. They are devastated – worried sick about Romeo. He is on medication to control the seizures but obviously things like flashing lights can trigger one at any time. They can only hope the medication limits the number of fits he suffers to a minimum and he can enjoy as normal a life as possible. Epilepsy affects a great number of people and many grow out of it. They are just praying Romeo gets better.” Posh revealed the situation to a paparazzo who was photographing the 4-year-old, causing him to reacted violently at Heathrow last Saturday.
Posh: I Can Laugh
Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham was at Selfridges in London launching new fashion book, ‘That Extra Half An Inch’. The former Spice Girl told The Mirror: “My favorite picture in the book is one of me covering my face while I’m laughing. That shot really captured who I am.” Then she joked: “Although I don’t smile, do I? I’m supposed to be a miserable bitch!”
Posh: I’d Love To Be ‘Lady’ Victoria Beckham
Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham told Jo Whiley on Radio 1 that she hoped the rumor she might soon be dubbed Lady Victoria were true – and admitted she really fancied the idea of having a title. “It’s just so camp it’s wonderful, isn’t it – Lady Victoria. Something like that goes in the paper and you think, ‘That would be quite amazing’,” she said, adding, “I think David’s done a lot for charity, he was heavily involved with the Olympic bid and he’s given a lot to his country with the football too, and I think he deserves it – but we’ll see.”
