Posh Snubs Royal Charity As Damon Delays Her Album
The Mirror reports even though Damon Dash and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham recorded 12 “hip-pop” tracks in New York, her record company Telstar has rejected the songs and now her first single has been pushed back to January. The delay has forced Posh to pull out of Prince’s Trust Fashion Rocks event at the Royal Albert Hall on October 15th. “We prefer the stuff she had already recorded. It was very Kylie-style pop,” an insider at Telstar said. A source added, “She is meant to be releasing the first single next year now. If everything had been on schedule she would have had a new song to perform at the show but because of the delay due to her involvement with Damon Dash, she has no song to promote. It must be a huge disappointment for the Prince’s Trust as she does attract a lot of publicity.”
