Posh To Lead Simon Fuller’s Brit Pop Invasion

The Sun reports former Spice Girl will be “relaunched” in America because her manager Simon Fuller believes Brits hate her. “Simon feels it is becoming more and more difficult to make the British music-buying public like Victoria. The reaction here is to hate her and her music,” a source at Fuller’s 19 Management revealed. “But she won’t take that sort of baggage to the US market. Simon is making huge inroads into America with US Idol. He has the Midas touch. His new label will release material by US Idol contestants and his British stable. Leading the charge is Victoria. Industry insiders see him as a bit of a hot shot there and they will take notice.” Fuller also plans on launching ‘Pop Idol’ champ , former S Club star Rachel Stevens, and Posh’s ex-bandmate Emma Bunton on the American market.
