Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham’s crimson satin dress was the talk of the British Style Awards, but the singer misspoke when she told fashion editors: “I bought it in Madrid which has some fantastic designer shops.” In fact, two nights earlier, Posh had borrowed the outfit – from Elle’s fashion editor Clara Courel. “She came up to me and said, ‘I love your outfit’,” Courel told the Evening Standard. “I told her it was by Hannibal Laguna. I went to Hannibal and suggested he give it to her as a present.”
