Clay Aiken Won’t Do Interviews With Gay Publications

January 12, 2005 – Clay is quick to do interviews, but not with openly gay publications. Next magazine columnist Matt Bell notes in the gay mag’s latest issue: “We tried to get an interview with the sexually ambiguous pop star… but his publicist told us he’d ‘never talk to a gay magazine!’ Well, why pray tell, is that?” The New York Post wasn’t able to get a response from Aiken’s rep on the matter.
