Preview Of Britney Spears’ Album

Hey y’all! got a change to hear 7 tracks of off Britney’s new album. Here’s what Ruben had to say about them!

‘Me against the music’
The duet with Madonna that was written by both her and Britney. It’s a pumped up dance beat and also the first single. Sounds very sexy with the the traditional Madonna trademark.

‘Breathe on me’
Moaning, pulsating heartbeats and a production that will transfer all of your thoughts to Kylie Minogue’s ‘Can’t Get you out of my head’. Britney sings a double standard about feelings in her body that she cannot understand. But everybody does…

‘Touch of my hand’
This one is straight forward. We’re talking masturbation. Britney sings about doing herself and that it’s no sin. The song has a mix of funk elements with violins which will come out as an effective hook for the listeners and fans.

Pumped up heartbeats and oriental melodies. It’s like Club Music meets ‘A Thousand and One Night’. A refined combination, hmm, wonder what the older fans will think of this one….

R Kelly’s collaboration to the CD can easily be compared to a booty call. Britney sings about touching her body, and how her panties feel inside her sexy jeans. This track will be redone before the album release.

Sounds like a Prince song, but a little bit more plastic. That’s all there is to say.

Purebred club music spiced with vibrating guitar tunes that bring your thoughts to a panoramic western movie. Britney talks about married men.

Well some people like music that makes you feel good and happy-and sex and dancing are definitely some happy topics to sing about-who wants to listen to pop music that is depressing, not me. unlike a lot of xtinas CD that talked about abuse, betrayal, backstabbers, etc.- I’ll take Britney’s sexy fun songs any day

Yeah that’s true. Everybody was talking about how she matured and became more creative with her music, when every song is pretty much the same material as her last albums. If you ask me, that’s just deceiving. If she and her record company want to make an attempt to attract a bigger audience or whatever, they should at least be honest. Lying about one’s maturity as an artist and making deceiving word of mouth about the same continuous music and lyrics on an album doesn’t have to be necessary to earn respect and recognition. That’s why I am not a fan of Britney. I would rather be a fan to someone who doesn’t have a single #1 single or album to their name and still respects their fans, young and old. It’s all about respect. If an artist can respect their fans, and truly have something to show in their music besides sex and provocative ear candy, that’s the image that’s truly refreshing to see.

Once again her music and lyric content seems to be the exact same material as her other albums, just with more sexual feeling and expression. Am I against her for just being more sexual on her album? NO. Do I “hate” her because of her new image becoming more sexually tasteful with each photoshoot and magazine cover? NO. Do I think she’s a slut or whatever because she’s being more sexual? NO. If that’s all she wants to promote on her albums and herself, that’s fine by me. It’s her music, it’s her business, and it’s probably what most people want to listen to and see from her, something that’s fun and really sexy. That’s not a problem by me. I just wish there would be more honesty in part of the promotion and such. Unlike what’s been said about her recently, it doesn’t seem like Britney has matured at all and doesn’t really have much to say to express her maturity in this present time. Anyways, I am just saying all this to state my opinion, it’s not more or less right than your own. (PEACE)

You can’t go wrong with songs about sex. Erotica was Madonna’s best album

I think it depends who’s singing it and how they are singing it. Pretty much, every song these days are about sex, so it won’t make sense to put the spot on just Britney and Christina for expressing their sexuality in music. Some are just more obvious than others. But not every song about sex is actually hot. Like Jessica Simpson’s Sweetest Sin and Willa Ford’s I Wanna Be Bad. Those are just the worse songs about sex I ever heard. But yeah of course, Madonna made the best songs about sex, which also included mystery, love, fantasy, seduction, and obsession. Her songs will NEVER go wrong.

I agree that Madonna was one of the few people who could pull off songs about sex, but that was a pretty long time ago. Now she’s just freaking me out with “Jewish names” and fake British accents….the problem with these pop stars is that their crowd’s taste in music changes so often, so these “singers” feel the need to try and keep up with these latest trends. It’s all about selling records rather then staying true to who you are. I mean, what kind of ‘musician’ are you, when you don’t even like your own music…the old music that made you who you are. Do you really think Madonna would be as big as she is without MTV? Without always changing herself so that people would notice her more? People get tired of you after a while…You guys can like your Britney if you want, I don’t care, it’s just Britney has a seriously long way before she can call herself a REAL musician…anyways, that’s just my opinion, don’t freak out or anything just because I feel strongly about what I believe in.

Prince, Kylie Minogue……Britney will never be original and have her own sound. Don’t tell me that orgasmic moaning excuse for singing is her trademark – it’s been done before. If this is all the album has to offer? Bye Bye Britney. Pathetic.

  9. HoneyRain says:

you must not forget that record labels have a LOT of control over their artists so you can’t completely blame ANY artist for “changing with the trend” or “not liking their own music”. with record companies.. yes.. it is all about the money.. they could care less about the feelings of the artist. (well.. in the pop industry anyway) I agree that Britney has a long way before she is a musician.. but if you were referring to Christina at all.. I must disagree. Christina IS a true musician up under all the make-up and raunchiness.. her album has incredible depth. I just wish she didn’t release “dirrty” first.. it has kept a lot of people from buying a great album
