Punk-rock Blend A Hit With Today’s Kids
Kelefa Sanneh of the New York Times profiled the romance and the musical collaboration between 26-year-old Joel Madden of Good Charlotte and soon to be legal Hilary Duff. “There’s something satisfying about this pairing, both visually and commercially,” Sanneh said. “To see Madden hand in hand with Duff is to be reminded of all the things they share, starting with their fans. (And ending, perhaps, with their mascara.) It’s hard to think of a more elegant expression of the love affair between punk and pop.”
