Q&A With Six South Carolina ‘American Idol 2′ Hopefuls

Next week, six young singers from South Carolina will head to Los Angeles in the hopes that one of them will be the next ‘American Idol.’ The six spoke with Jaymi Freiden of The State asking each whether they prefer Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey, their inspirations, describing ‘Idol’ judge Simon Cowell in three words, and their thoughts on Kelly Osbourne.
