The Sun reports Girls Aloud are devastated after finding out a sales hitch with R. Kelly’s ‘Ignition’ release could rob them of the #1 slot on Sunday. Demand for Ignition was so huge when he released it last week his record label Jive simply couldn’t get enough copies to the shops, but they’ve since been restocked. “I think R Kelly’s record label underestimated the demand,” an insider at Girls Aloud’s label Polydor said. “So they didn’t get enough in the shops and quite a few fans had to wait until this week to get a copy. It’s still early days and the girls will fight their hardest to sell as many as possible.” Read more.
