The People reports that just as Rachel Stevens is celebrating the chart success of ‘Some Girls’, she’s been dumped by millionaire boyfriend Gavin Dein, son of Arsenal vice-chairman David. “Rachel would always choose work over him,” said a Gavin pal. “Dates were cancelled because things would come up with her work.” And her run-in with ‘Friends’ actor David Schwimmer brought more tension. “Rachel kept talking about going to see him in Los Angeles so he could introduce her to people who could help her acting work,” the pal added. “Going on like that about this handsome actor helped sow the seeds of doubt in Gavin’s mind that he was doing the right thing.” A spokesman for the singer downplayed the split saying, “They were never really serious and only went out on a few dinner dates.”
