Ramiele Malubay: I Know ‘Nice Guy’ Simon Cowell Likes Me

‘American Idol’ castoff Ramiele Malubay spoke with Greg Hernandez of the LA Daily News about her experience on the hit FOX show, and the criticism she received from Simon Cowell. “Simon likes me, I know he does,” Malubay insisted. “He’s a really nice guy. He was telling me, ‘It was the song choice, it’s the song choice’ … Sometimes he overdoes it (with criticism) but, it’s TV. He just wants us to be, like, better.” As for how things have changed for her in the psat few months, she said, “It’s pretty much taken over my whole life but it’s a good thing.
