Reactions To Fans Getting To See Nick Were Priceless

Courtney Mullin of MTV wrote on the Total Request Live diary for October 16th: “I called a bunch of die-hard Nick Carter fans and invited them to see his performance on the 23rd. Their reactions were priceless – hopefully I’ll get my hearing back in my left ear. It’s great to give huge fans the opportunity to see their idol – that’s what TRL is all about. Nick is by far the most popular Backstreet Boy. I still have nightmares about past BSB appearances on TRL. Times Square would pretty much shut down. BSB fans were everywhere! I would have hundreds of people screaming in my face, crying and trying desperately to convince me to let them in. Never understanding that we have capacity issues, and I am only allowed to bring a certain number of fans into the studio.”
