Richardson Gives Update On New Backstreet Album

Launch.com caught up with Kevin Richardson and asked him how things were going on the Backstreet Boys new album. “We are actually, writing, recording, and doing preproduction for our next record,” Richardson said on Tuesday (September 24). Kevin says the new album, which he hopes to have out by “early 2003″, will touch a lot of genres with a wide range of writers and producers involved. “We’ve written and had writing sessions with everybody from Glen Ballard to Jermaine Dupri so, I mean, we’re covering a wide spectrum there–an R&B and hip-hop producer to a rock producer–and we’re doing a lot of writing on our own.” Read more.
