Launch.com caught up with Kevin Richardson and asked him how things were going on the Backstreet Boys new album. “We are actually, writing, recording, and doing pre-production for our next record,” Richardson said on Tuesday (September 24). Kevin says the new album, which he hopes to have out by “early 2003”, will touch a lot of genres with a wide range of writers and producers involved. “We’ve written and had writing sessions with everybody from Glen Ballard to Jermaine Dupri so, I mean, we’re covering a wide spectrum there–an R&B and hip-hop producer to a rock producer–and we’re doing a lot of writing on our own.”
