Rick Dees On Kelly Clarkson

Dees Sleaze talked about Kelly Clarkson winning ‘American Idol’ last week and the interview she did with the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. They played an excerpt of her appearance on the show where Jay’s other guest Jimmy Fallon talked about why he was happy Kelly won. Rick says Kelly got $10,000 for the appearance, and that she gets $10 grand for TV appearances, and $5,000 for radio appearances. For going to a state fair in Houston, Kelly reportedly got $50,000. But for that winning $1 million recording contract, she only gets about $23,000 according to Rick, after all the expenses. Audio has since been removed.
