Rick Dees Returns To LA Radio

Legendary radio personality Rick Dees is returning to daily radio in Los Angeles on Movin 93.9, a new format for Country 93.9 KZLA which will feature artists like Beyonce Knowles, Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez and the Black Eyed Peas. Dees, who still hosts the syndicated Weekly Top 40, had been the morning show jock for KIIS FM in Los Angeles before getting ousted in favor of Ryan Seacrest. “Emmis is the perfect fit,” Dees said in a press release. “I’ve been presented with many opportunities, and the new Movin 93.9 gets me excited like I’ve never been before! We will have an All-Star team ready to deliver a great morning show for Southern California.”
