Ousted ‘American Idol’ Rickey Smith spoke to TV Guide Online by phone in New York, where he revealed that Busta Rhymes had contacted him after he got voted off. “He said, ‘Don’t let this get you down. You did a great job’,” Rickey revealed. Smith says that he’s headed to Kansas next. “I’m doing a concert with Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent… all of them,” he said. “It’s in Wichita, Kans., tomorrow. I don’t know much about it. It just got set up, and they asked me if I wanted to do it.”
