Paul Gargano of the Hollywood Reporter was on hand for Ricky Martin’s sold-out performance Tuesday night at Hollywood’s Pantages Theater. Gargano writes that the show “was hosted by two markedly different frontmen. The first was tentative and hesitant, as if he wasn’t sure whether the stage was the place he wanted to be. The second was charismatic and dynamic, working as if he owned the stage and everyone in front of it. While the crowd shrieked and squealed every bit of the way, it wasn’t until the midway point in the set that Martin truly began to earn the adoration.”
