Ricky Martin tells the Canadian Press he’s torn between the brutality of the war in Iraq and his support for family members stationed with U.S. forces in Baghdad. “I believe in a philosophy that the biggest weapon we use is non-violence,” he said. “But at the same time I have a really big problem. “When we talk about blood, I’ll go deeper with it and I won’t hesitate to even question the need (for the military intervention).” Martin said he had two family members are stationed in Baghdad. Martin, who danced alongside U.S. President George W. Bush at his 2001 inauguration festivities, vowed to donate medicine, clothes and books to Iraqi children through his charitable foundation.
