Billboard reports that retailer Ritmo refuses to sell Shakira’s new CD ‘Fijacion Oral’ in their over 42 stores because they are upset that Shakira and her label would not schedule an in-store appearance. “They aren’t giving any Latin chain an in-store” said Ritmo Latino president David Massry. Shakira has been seen promoting her Spanish album in the US, but as Ritmo says, “Sony Music and Shakira are not supporting the Latin community.”
