The Sun reports EMI has agreed an £80million ($125 million) deal with EMI, and he gets to call the shots to boot. The top condition set by Williams was that the label make a commitment to make him a megastar in the US – a market he has so far failed to crack. “Robbie can be a global superstar now,” a music industry source said. “It cements him as the biggest name in British music for a decade.” Robbie’s new album ‘Escapology’ is due out in November.
