Robbie Williams told The Toronto Sun recently that it took him a while to size up Los Angelenos who had an agenda. “I didn’t have my ‘di**head radar’ fixed when I came to the States,” said Williams. “I got it fixed for Europe and I can normally weed out, ‘Oh, you like me ’cause I’m famous,’ or ‘You like me ’cause I’ve got money’ or ‘You like me ’cause I could probably get you a job,’ in London. But it sort of broke on the flight to L.A. So I got stabbed in the back a few times. It sounds pretty harsh. It wasn’t really stabbed in the back, it was let down.”
