Robbie Williams’ Pal’s Parent Hits Out At Gay Slurs

Robbie Williams kicked off his European tour last night with a spectacular upside down entry – as the father of his best friend Jonathan Wilkes insisted to the Sunday Mirror that the two men were straight. “People ask me they are a pair of poofs and the answer is no. No, no, definitely no,” bristles Graham Wilkes. “Of course if it did turn out he was gay, it wouldn’t make any difference. Whatever makes him happy in life, that’s our only wish. But I wonder why two men can’t be close friends in the way two women can.”
