Robert Post On Cabbie To Pop Star Conversion

Pop newcomer Robert Post caught up with ‘Top Of The Pops’ for a Q&A, where he was asked about the most exciting person he’d ever had in the back of his cab during his previous job as a taxi driver. “That must have been the A&R guy who discovered me – Mike Salt,” Post said. “I’d only been driving he taxi for maybe two weeks. I was just playing my music in the cab – I didn’t put it on because he was there, but it was his cup of tea and he just asked me what it was out of interest. I told him it was some demos, and from there we just did some shows and it all happened quite fast.” Read more.
