Roc Music Created By Dash And Jay-Z
The Mirror reports Damon Dash and Jay-Z have created an offshoot record label for non hip-hop artists in a bid to protect the credibility of Roc-A-Fella. “Damon and Jay started Roc Music as a label for music other than hip-hop,” said the label’s vice president Kenny Burns. “Roc-A-Fella records is known as a rap brand and we want to establish Roc Music as it’s own brand.” Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is tapped to be on the new label.
