Rock Dynamo Avril Lavigne Is Poised And Adored

Patrick MacDonald of the Seattle Times reviewed ’s concert Monday night at the Tacoma Dome, saying “the feisty singer commanded the stage like a veteran and kept a big audience – many of them young girls – in awe through a 90-minute set.” MacDonald added, “The devotion young girls showed for Lavigne was reminiscent of the Madonna-wannabees of 20 years ago. The little girls were right then, as they were about the Beatles. And they just may be right about Lavigne.” Read more.
