Rockers The Datsuns Love Popstars: ‘The Rivals’

The Mirror reports the Datsuns indulged in some rather non-rock star entertainment before their gig at University of East Anglia last week — watching reruns of Popstars: The Rivals. “It was really funny. Before they went on stage they made their roadies set up a TV and video so they could watch the episodes they had taped because they were gigging,” a student explained. “We’ve had loads of bands, and they’re usually half-cut, drinking, smoking and swearing, so these guys were a bit of a shock.”
