Former Boyzone star Ronan Keating tells Eleanor Black of the New Zealand Herald that at 25, he thinks he’s moved beyond being considered a boy band artist. “I think I have put [the boy band tag] behind me, but it’s not something I feel I have to do, because I’m not ashamed of it. It got me where I am and I’m lucky to be here. At the same time, we all need to grow up and move on and I feel I have done that now. And I think people are starting to accept me now as a solo artist.”
