Ronan Keating’s Cancer Scare

The People reports Ronan Keating has revealed the terror he felt after finding a lump in his testicles while taking a shower while vacationing in South Africa. “I was in a panic. I called my doctor back home in Dublin,” he said. “He was very calm and reassuring but even so I couldn’t wait to get back home and to be properly examined.” A check-up showed it was a benign type of coil that wraps around the testicle. “It was embarrassing but apparently it happens to quite a lot of men in their 20s,” he said. Keating’s mother Marie died of breast cancer five years ago at the age of 54.
