Animal activists are outraged with Madonna after the Material Girl dyed her sheep blue, pink, yellow and green for a Vogue spread at their English country estate, in Wiltshire. Madge and hubby Guy Ritchie insisted the dye used was temporary and did not harm the animals, but the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) said it set a bad example. “Why is it necessary and what are they trying to prove,” an RSPCA spokesperson asked. “It is an irresponsible publicity stunt. It sends out the wrong message about how to use animals.” Read more, including a picture of one of the dyed sheep, here.
