Jim Farber of the New York Daily News examined the sales drops that ‘American Idol’ season two champ Ruben Studdard and runner-up Clay Aiken have been experiencing with their latest albums. Farber said of Aiken, “Inside word has it that Aiken didn’t want to release a disk of mainly covers at all, preferring something original. But his company had other plans, perhaps with visions of Rod Stewart’s smash cover albums dancing in its head.” Read more.
