The publicity battle between Destiny Productions and the Russian Aerospace Agency continued today as the space agency poured cold water on claims in a press release that claimed *NSYNC star Lance Bass was given informal word that he was physically fit enough to take a seat on a Russian rocket flight to the International Space Station was anything more than that. Russian Aerospace Agency spokesman Konstantin Kreidenko said, “We have received no requests from either him or his representatives, not to speak about signing any contracts. Anyone has the right to undergo tests in the Institute of Biomedical Problems. But that doesn’t mean that such person is considered to be a candidate for space flight.” Read more.
