Star magazine spoke with Ryan Reynolds’ mother Tammy after her son popped the question to Alanis Morissette on June 3rd, giving her a 2.5 carat emerald cut diamond ring. “Ryan gave her a bike for her birthday (June 1) and she thought that was it!” Tammy said. “Then two days later he got down on his knee and proposed.” She added, “I’ve never seen my son so happy. We couldn’t be happier to have Alanis as our daughter-in-law!”
