Ryan Seacrest Has Dick Clark Aspirations

Entertainment Tonight spoke with Ryan Seacrest about his new gig hosting ‘American Junior’. “I want to be like Dick Clark,” Ryan, who also hosts a STAR 98.7 FM radio show, told ET. “Dick Clark and Merv Griffin are guys I look up to and admire. So for me to be on Clear Channel radio every day, and for me to be hosting a live television show, as a broadcaster, it is the best couple of gigs in the world. I am thrilled to be doing it.”
