Sandi Thom Recalls Being Batoned In The Face By Police

The Sun reports that five years ago, Sandi Thom, who was called Alexandria at the time, tried to sue the police after being hit in the face with a baton when they intervened during a domestic dispute with her then boyfriend in Aberdeen. “It was a horrible experience and it’s in the past,” Sandi said of the incident that left her with three broken teeth. “I don’t want to think about it again and would like to get on with my career.” The injury left Thom unable to sing for weeks and she had to have cosmetic dentistry.
