Sandi Thom checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Friday (August 29), talking about upcoming gigs, a report in The Daily Record that she wanted a baby, and the singer took a shot at rival UK singer songwriter Lily Allen. Thom writes:
I cant believe Lily Allen hit that girl in the street though, what the hell is that girl all about. I always expected her next album to be out the same time as me as both our first albums came out at the same time. But not a peep. I cant believe she is slagging off Katy Perry as well, I am on Katy’s side, I think she is great!! Lily must be too busy starting fights and slagging people off to write some new songs!!! Come on lil get your SHT together!!

Sandi Thom’s My Space page did not like her comments about Lily Allen, now” what does that tell you’? It’s a low class move to get her name in the paper.

Lily has attitude and personality, and is a whole lot more successful than Sandi.
And what is she on about “I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers on my hair” – since when did punks have flowers in their hair? Fu**ing sh** song by a sh** artist. She obviously has no clue what punk is all about, whereas Lily does.
