Sara Bareilles “So Flattered” To Sing On OneRepublic’s ‘Come Home’
Sara Bareilles checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Monday (July 20), talking about the latest release from OneRepublic’s debut album ‘Dreaming Out Loud’, which she’s featured on. The singer songwriter tells readers:
In which we stand…
That was my clever way of mentioning that m’boys in OneRepublic have just released their latest single on Itunes called “Come Home.” Needless to say I was so flattered when Ryan asked me to sing on this track, and I’m excited for you guys to hear it. He also told me the very sentimental story behind the song about a friend of his that was serving in the military and his fiancé at home, and their struggles to get through a very difficult time. It really touched me. He wrote a beautiful song that is both hopeful, and sad, and I feel lucky to have been a part of it. Hope you like it.
