Scissor Sisters Sneer Over Britney Remix Offer

Top of the Pops reports that the Scissor Sisters were asked to help remix Britney Spears’ new single ‘Toxic’ but had absolutely no interest. They said, “Britney’s about as clever as a box of hair and she’s just too trashy. We said no.” They added, “We just don’t take Madonna’s sloppy seconds. If we were given the choice between remixing The Cheeky Girls, we’d pick Monica and Gabriella every time.”
