A press release posted on RyanOnAir.com on Tuesday (May 18) insisted that contrary to a report in Star magazine, ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’ has not been cancelled. The statement reads: “In fact, at this point in time, Twentieth Television has cleared ‘On Air’ in more than 88% of the country for next season (2004-05). The program continues to move forward and has an exciting slate of top celebrities scheduled to appear in the upcoming months and beyond… We remain strongly committed to the program, fervently believe in Ryan and his extraordinary talent as a host, and look forward to this continued ratings and clearance growth with ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’.”
