According to voice-within.org/dirrty, Christina Aguilera was interviewed tonight on MTV Latin’s ‘Christina Aguilera Fanatic’. The singer said she will be touring Latin America in the new year, and is currently working on her second Latin CD.
that’s great for Christina.. I’m glad she’s exploring her Spanish roots and other genres of music. I think it’s ignorant for anyone to bash her because she wants to sings Spanish music.. if that were the case.. you should bash Eminem for singing black music and he’s no where NEAR black.. at least Christina is half Hispanic. I think it’ll be great.. she has the voice for it.
I’ve never bashed her because she wants to sing Spanish music! lol I find her Spanish songs so good, I don’t remember the title but she sang a very good Spanish song, I think it is on her 1st Spanish album!
OMG, I’m excited about it! Mi Reflejo was awesome and I know her second Spanish album will be even better.
you may not have bashed her but I remember a big deal being made over her first Spanish album.. in a negative way.
The only reason she “seems” like she knows what she’s doing is because they shove the words in front of her and she sings ‘em! She can’t even understand what she’s singing….stupid whore. I’m glad she’s going to record another Latin album (prepare the shelves, Christina. I can smell a lot of Latin Grammys this time) since her first Latin album was huge hit, debuting at the top spot, sold 5 million worldwide and topped the Latin chart for 13 straight weeks. I take it that Christina is taken time with her third album. I think it is cool that Christina is doing these Spanish album I just can’t wait for her follow up to Stripped
Since the Latin Grammy Awards is on the way, I just want to remind you guys and flash back into Christina’s award winning Spanish album, which we all love. ‘Mi reflejo’ sold 5 million copies worldwide, Debuting at the number one spot at the Latin Chart and stayed at the top for 13 straight weeks, she earned a lot of respect from Latin artists like Gloria Estefan, Celia Cruz and Ricky Martin and won her a Latin Grammy. I’m a fan of Christina and own all her cds, BUT why does she do this? She gives the excuse because she wants to “explore her roots”. If she really wanted to do that she would take a trip to Ecuador and learn about the culture etc. Seriously this will be her SECOND Spanish album and she still hasn’t learned any Spanish. I hate to say it but she is just using her ethnicity to get more fans. She does this because Latins are very quick to support ANY Latin artist, just because they are Latin. I am Latina and I know this for a fact. Come on look at Jennifer Lopez and Thalia. Most of their fans are Latin, and yet they are talentless. I hope she gets a better Spanish coach at least because she mispronounced such basic words in Mi Reflejo that it was quite embarrassing. This isn’t only for her, this is also for Jennifer Lopez who speaks atrocious Spanish but when it is convenient, claims that she is 100% Boriqua. Same crap different toilet. That is just my opinion as a FAN.
^ people who have a mature outlook seem to think maturely. she knows how to sing the hell out of those song….why not! she’s way ahead of everyone in the music industry! she has done every other genre. that more than anyone else has yet to do.
Well, actually I’ve heard some of her old Spanish songs and it seems like she knows Spanish to me. It’s hard to sing Spanish songs if you don’t know Spanish because; A) You won’t know what you’re singing and you could make a sad depressing song happy. B) You need to know how to pronounce the words. So if you hate her or not I highly doubt that she just has the words shoved in front of her.
