Security Tight At Near Riot Project Greenlight Party

The San Jose Mercury News reports Miramax’s ‘Project Greenlight’ party at a nightclub on Main Street turned into a near-riot, with A-listers like Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and her fiance Ben Affleck in attendance. They report, “Police were forced to shut down the festival’s main thoroughfare when an enormous crowd that had gathered outside the party surged toward the limo carrying Lopez, Affleck and their perpetual posse, Matt Damon. When Spears fetched up at the velvet rope — then had to cool her stiletto heels outside while her security detail conducted a sweep of the club, apparently searching for anthrax, or Justin Timberlake, or something — fans were sighted crawling across rooftops to penetrate her security nimbus. Or something.”
