Selena Gomez won the Favorite TV Actress award at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2009 on Saturday night, but the ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ star missed the event, dining with family and her ‘Wizards’ co-stars at a restaurant. The 16-year-old found out she won via a text message from her publicist. “I’m so sad that I’m not there and I wanted to do it via this,” Gomez said in a posting on her YouTube channel.
