September 11 Convinced Nick And Jess To Marry

Star magazine spoke with Jessica Simpson and 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey on how the events of September 11 brought the couple back together and convinced them that they should get married. Jessica said, “The horrific events of 9/11 put my life in perspective and made me realize who is important to me – and that is Nick.” For his part, Nick said, “[9/11] freaked her out. It made us both realize how we felt for each other.” He added, “I can’t wait to say ‘I Do.’”
