Paul Stewart of the Herald Sun spoke with Naomi Wentigong and Simone Stacey of Shakaya following their trip to America where where the two visited a ‘Pop Star Boot Camp’. Naomi explained, “We imagined it was going to be like one of those American movies where there is this tough sergeant major who yells at you all the time. The camp was in Orlando and we were there for five weeks of intense workshops.” She added, “It was great working with people such as Lou Pearlman, who taught the Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync how to dance.”
