The August search queries for Shakira related searches have been posted on Goto.com, and the figures are quite impressive for the Latin sensation. Over 36,000 searches for the month were done for the term ‘Shakira’ while ‘Shakira lyric’ was #2 with 1254 queries. It appears most searches originated from Hispanic speaking searchers as 802 searched for ‘Shakira desnuda’ while only 345 searched for the English equivalent ‘Shakira nude’. Only 37 searched for ‘Laundry Service’, the title of her first bilingual album.
